A little about me at bluedoorwreathsnmore.com
I am a Mother of three, grandmother of five and great grandmother of one. When I retired in 2013 from my Corporate job after almost 40 years I found that I had time to actually do things that I love to do. I am creative by nature. I have been an avid Scrapbooker for many years, both traditional and digital. That led me to the world of digital design, card making, junk journals, jewelry making, scarf making, and an endless line of creativity.
I enjoy Gardening, so in 2014 I became a Master Gardener. I volunteered in my Community helping others learn and grow. I do Straw Bale gardens every year for my vegetable garden. I adore it.
I decided to make a wreath to decorate my front door several years ago. I was pretty happy with it. Family and friends asked me to make one for them, and so it began. I started creating and selling at local Craft Shows and online through Facebook Buy Sell Sites In 2017 I started my official Blue Door Wreaths Business and opened my Etsy Shop.
You never really know what life is going to bring you. My oldest Son has developed some pretty serious health issues. As a way to try to earn extra money to help with his medical costs and needs I decided to turn my passion for creating into a full time business. I never dreamt of going back to work full time in this chapter of my life, but we do what God has assigned us to do. I needed to find something that gave me the flexibility and freedom to travel as needed and starting my own business fills those needs.
